Quality Inspection & Documentation
Quality on a forging line is a system, not a final gate. Ours runs from incoming material verification through in-process checks at every stage to final dimensional layout, with the paperwork an automotive or export customer needs generated as part of the same flow.
- Quality System
- ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 aligned
- Documentation
- PPAP, PFMEA, control plan, FAIR
- Traceability
- Heat number, billet to dispatch
- Gauging
- Go/no-go, height gauge, bore gauge
- Inspection Level
- Sampling or 100% as specified
- Third-Party Inspection
- Welcome on appointment

In-Process Control, Not Just Final Sorting
Billet weight, forging temperature, die condition, forged weight, heat treatment hardness and machined dimensions each have their own check frequency and record. Catching drift at the forging stage costs a die adjustment; catching it at final inspection costs the whole batch.
- Billet weight and temperature checks
- Forged weight sampling per shift
- Hardness verification after heat treatment
- Final dimensional layout
Documentation Packages
We prepare PPAP submissions, control plans, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, gauge R&R studies and first article inspection reports. For export shipments, the pack typically includes material certificates, heat treatment charts, dimensional reports and NDT certificates under one batch reference.
Traceability From Billet to Box
Every batch carries its heat number from the steel supplier through forging, heat treatment, machining and packing. If a question arises after delivery, we can reconstruct exactly which billet lot, which die, which furnace charge and which machining setup produced the part in question.
People also ask
What documentation accompanies a production batch?
Material certificate, heat treatment chart, hardness results, dimensional report and NDT certificate where specified, all referenced to the batch and heat number.
How long are quality records retained?
Per our quality manual, and they remain retrievable on request years after delivery.

Questions Answered
Do you supply PPAP documents?
+
Yes, full PPAP level 3 packs are prepared for automotive customers, including control plan, PFMEA and dimensional results.
Can our inspector visit before dispatch?
+
Yes, pre-dispatch inspection by customer or third-party agencies is arranged on request.
How long are records retained?
+
Batch records including material, heat treatment and inspection data are retained per our quality manual and made available on request.
Do you do 100% inspection?
+
Where the drawing or the criticality demands it, yes. Otherwise a documented sampling plan is agreed with the customer.
