Forged Eye Bolts
An eye bolt carries a load directly overhead through a threaded connection and a formed eye. Both must be forged, because a machined eye has cut grain exactly where the load pulls hardest.
Forged eye bolts are lifting components in which grain flow wraps around the eye curvature, giving tensile strength no machined or bent-bar equivalent matches. They are 100% proof load tested, magnetic particle inspected and marked with their working load limit.

Why the Eye Must Be Forged
The eye is loaded in tension across a curved section. Forging wraps grain around that curve; machining or bending bar leaves fibre ends exposed at the highest stress point. Standards for lifting hardware require forged construction for exactly this reason.

Collared and Angular Loading
