Chemical & Process Industry Forging
Chemical plants attack their own equipment. Grade selection is the entire engineering problem — a correctly specified stainless lasts decades, while the wrong one fails in months at exactly the same cost to buy.

Grade Selection by Media
304 for mild service, 316 wherever chlorides are present, duplex where chloride stress corrosion threatens, and specialist grades for acids. We ask what the medium, temperature and concentration actually are before recommending anything.
- Media-specific grade selection
- Chloride and acid service considered
- Segregated stainless handling
- Full material certification
Cleanliness and Contamination
Stainless is handled on segregated tooling and storage. A carbon steel smear from shared handling becomes visible rust weeks later — unacceptable in pharmaceutical and food-adjacent process equipment.
Parts We Supply
Process flanges, valve bodies and trim, agitator shafts and hubs, pump components, reactor fittings, sight glass hardware and drawing-specific process components.

Questions Answered
How do you prevent carbon contamination of stainless?
+
Segregated tooling, handling equipment and storage for stainless work, so no carbon steel transfer occurs.
Can you supply pickled and passivated parts?
+
Yes, pickling and passivation are arranged where surface condition matters for corrosion resistance.
Which grade should I use for chlorides?
+
SS 316 as a minimum; duplex where chloride stress corrosion cracking is a realistic risk.
Do you supply agitator shafts?
+
Yes, forged and ground agitator shafts in stainless grades with runout verified.
